A rich and characterful dry red wine from Georgia’s renowned Kakheti region, Archili’s Wine Saperavi 2015 is made from 100% Saperavi grapes grown in the Tsinandali micro-zone.
 
Produced by winemaker and viticulturist Archil Utiashvili, this handmade red wine comes from a 30-year-old vineyard and reflects both modern winemaking and ancient Georgian techniques.
 
Dark ruby in colour, the wine opens with expressive aromas of flowers, honey and field blossoms. On the palate, it is rich in tannins, with beautifully balanced notes of ripe cherry, blackberry, black plum, dried fruit and oak.
Fermented together with the grape skins, stalks and bunches, this is a bold and structured Georgian red with depth, texture and a strong sense of place.
