A beautifully expressive organic semi-sweet red wine from Georgia’s renowned Kakheti region, Marani Kindzmarauli BIO 2023 is made from 100% Saperavi grapes grown in vineyards managed according to organic grape-growing principles.

Deep purple-red in colour with an inky hue around the rim, this wine opens with a vibrant, fruit-led nose full of ripe red berries. On the palate, sweet blackberry and raspberry confiture take centre stage, balanced by lively acidity that keeps the wine fresh, elegant and beautifully drinkable.

The result is a rich but balanced expression of Kindzmarauli, with natural sweetness, juicy fruit and a smooth, lingering finish.

The grapes are hand-picked at full maturity at the end of September. After soft de-stemming and crushing, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 23–28°C using indigenous yeasts naturally present on the grape skins. After 5–7 days of maceration, fermentation is stopped by cooling once the desired level of residual sugar is reached, preserving the wine’s natural sweetness and freshness. It is then kept cold at around 0°C before bottling.
