Marani Mukuzani 2018
A bold and elegant dry red wine from Georgia’s renowned Kakheti region, Marani Mukuzani is crafted from 100% Saperavi, a deeply coloured native grape variety known for producing rich, structured and characterful wines.
Deep red in colour, this wine opens with inviting aromas of black cherry, dark chocolate, vanilla and warm spice. On the palate, it is generous and full-bodied, with ripe, mouth-filling fruit and notes of damson layered with robust tannins. The finish is long and refined, giving the wine excellent depth and presence.
Made from hand-picked Saperavi grapes, the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperatures, with careful skin and cap management to extract flavour, colour and structure. After maceration, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation before ageing for 10–12 months in 225L oak barriques, followed by further maturation in stainless steel tanks and bottle.
A beautifully structured Georgian red, Marani Mukuzani 2018 is ideal for those who enjoy dry, full-bodied wines with dark fruit, oak influence and a lingering finish.
