Tkemali (Georgian: ტყემალი) is a Georgian sauce. There are three varieties of Georgian tkemali: the Green, Yellow and Red Color.
Tkemali Primarily made of cherry plum, Damson Plum, Green Plum and Yellow Plum. The flavor of the sauce varies, but generally tends to be pungently tart. To lower the tartness level, occasionally sweeter types of plums are used for preparation.
Tkemali Is a 100% Natural Product and One of the main Condiments of Georgian Cuisine. It is used for fried or grilled meat, poultry and potato dishes.
The Red Tkemali fruit is saturated with carbohydrates, iron, potassium, calcium, magnesium, vitamins and organic acids. Tkemali is a natural antioxidant that boosts immunity and improves heart function.
Red Tkemali goes well with grilled meats, especially pork and chicken. This kind of sauce is just as tasty with fish.

Storage Conditions: 0-25°C at relative humidity not exceeding 75%. Once opened, store in the refrigerator. Manufacturing date and expiry date:06.03.2021. Shake well before use.
